I decided to go with my parents out to the Harrison Festival of the Arts. I used to work there for a few weeks every summer over 15 years ago, I think. Anyway, it was hot and the beach was picture perfect. We wandered around and looked at the artist stalls - and we discovered some amazing artists that live in the area. I was inspired! Then, we took our picnic lunch and headed to Green Point beach, which is away from the big crowds of the main beach. We ate our lunch there, then stopped by the marina to take a few pictures. I really liked the colour and texture of this rope and rusted chain that was sitting on the pier. The water was a rich turquoise colour, as well, which made for a great combination.
In 2011, I took a photo every day for 100 days over the summer. This is the result... All photos are copyright protected. To request a photo, please check out my website at www.liquidfog.ca.

Today my cousin took my mom, my aunt and I out on Harrison Lake in his boat. We couldn't have asked for better conditions - the sun was shining, the lake was as smooth as glass, and there were no other boaters to be seen. We made it up to Rainbow Falls where we took a very short walk to the falls to take some pictures. Here's one that I took:
